If you're using an older version of the arris spectrum modems on your wireless network, you should click on the 'ios' icon next to your wireless router's name on the main menu. You can then click on the option 'wireless internet' and enter your user details for your wifi connection. This is your Spectrum Modem login page. Now you can connect to your Spectrum router with any computer that has a wifi connection.
The second thing that you need to do is create a new user name or password for your Spectrum Modem. You need to click on 'user preferences' on the main 'router' configuration utility page. Here you will find your Spectrum Modem IP Address, which can be (00: eadf: cafe: by: dece: f0: bce:).
After you have entered your username and password, you can then click 'Submit' and your router should now be set up to connect to your wireless network. You may need to configure the settings again if you change anything, but these steps should take care of the basic setup of your spectrum modem. If you need to change password or username, all you have to do is restart the modem. Your router will automatically detect and use the most suitable password or username for your network.
